So what I'm doing right now is I'm trying to find the distance traveled in kilometers for every minute that passes. When I implement Prisms VR in my classroom, kids love it because it expands on their content. For instance they're doing ratios today. I mean, I cover it, but then they get deeper into it and it gives them a real life exposure to how the ratios work. So the speed equals the distance divided by the time. Hm, OK. Once you actually get into the lesson, it's like the real world behind you just fades away and like you're focused more on the lesson than what's actually going on around you and it really gets you like into the lesson. So today the students are looking at a virtual reality um, immersion about urbanization and uh so it's a lesson on quadratics. They are immersed right now in a city and their task is as a city planner to um to investigate changes that are happening. It's like it's more hands on and it's more fun to do it like because we get to actually touch stuff in virtual reality instead of just sitting down doing paperwork because I was having trouble with it but since I was doing it in VR, I like, I started to like it more because I have to actually know how to do the lesson to continue in the um VR. Graphing is challenging to algebra students, so being able to actually see um glaciers dropping and understanding the rate of change, um, understanding slope, uh, it's something that they love to do. My first period is my class of English language learners, and they're at different levels of English proficiency. And so what the goggles do, it has a special feature that is able to translate the content. I think it's a more fun way to learn things because it's technological and it's like a game, and while you're playing, you're learning. So it's fun and educational. Right now we're doing plate tectonics. What the students are seeing right now they're going in and seeing an earthquake and going back in time and seeing how the earthquake began. First we put on our VR and there was this person that was talking to us and guiding us throughout the lesson. And it was telling me how there's different type of tectonic plates. I get to really experience everything and like how it goes down in the real world. I get to see like visual examples in the VR headset and it just like shows me real world examples where the stuff that I'm learning would be used. I can pause any of the students' lessons. I can send them messages during their actual assignments. I can keep up to see which parts of the assignment they're on, if they're on part one, part two. They're not isolated on these headsets at all. You can hear them now, so.
